Hi my name is Amelia and I am a university student looking for some extra work. I am a caring, responsible, energetic, and fun girl with 2 years of experience looking after children.
I have worked in many different fields and childcare is by far my favourite. I enjoy engaging with children through play and fun activities, like arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor play. I am also happy to help out with homework and projects, and to make dinner and help out with bedtime routines.
As a babysitter, I value open communication and reliability. My goal is to give parents peace of mind while building a positive connection with their children. I look forward to supporting your family and making every babysitting experience enjoyable for everyone!
My Experience
I went to boarding school so between the ages of 14 and 18 I helped out the resident teachers by babysitting their children after school. I have also worked in a daycare with children ages 2-11, primarily focusing on ages 3-4. I also did Camp America last summer so was providing 24/7 care for children between 6 and 16. I have worked with children with special needs and other learning difficulties so feel I am well equipped in that area. Comfortable with potty training and nappy changing. My parents used to foster so I am also well experienced with children that have behaviour difficulties and how to deal with difficult situations. I have a current DBS and also did CPR training while I was in America.
My Qualifications
While in America I completed my American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification which included CPR/AED and First Aid
My Availability
As I go to university, I will have to work around my schedule, however I am in my final year so my timetable is not very full.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.50 per hour
I don’t have exact fees, minimum wage would be preferable.
