About Me
I am an experienced teacher who has worked at a leading independent primary school in central London for over 12 years. I am currently working three days a week in a school and I have availability to offer in person or online tutoring fitting around my young family.
My Experience
I am confident in helping young learners achieve their full potential, particularly in preparation for the 7+ and 8+ London entrance exams.
I have extensive experience working with children in Key Stage 1 and 2 and I enjoy helping children excel academically while building confidence and a love for learning. Whether it's boosting literacy and numeracy skills, helping with exam technique, or preparing for the 7+ and 8+ entrance assessments, I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each child.
My tutoring style focuses on creating a supportive, engaging, and nurturing environment where learners feel encouraged and motivated to succeed.
My Qualifications
- Working in a leading independent primary school in London since 2013
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) – (Roehampton University, 2013)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – (NQT year completed and status achieved 2014)
- Undergraduate Business Degree – (University of Leeds, 2012 Graduated 2:1)
Attend regular school INSETs, professional development talks, safeguard training, updated first aid training and DBS certificate.
My Availability
I am currently available to help support online home learning or do online lessons. I am available to start early in the morning UK time to match time zones. Please get in touch.

Bobby has been tutoring my son for the 11+ and an independent school exam. She’s well prepared, great with children & is always willing to follow up on sessions with a conversation. A great find.

Bobby is such a wonderful tutor and has helped my son with maths in particular a huge amount. Her gentle and kind nature has really benefitted my son who has really enjoyed his sessions both online and in person. Bobby has a stellar background in teaching at prestigious schools, she is a real gem and I really couldn’t recommend her enough!
