About Me
I am a 24 year old from Canada. I studied English literature at university and now I work in a restaurant and am a musician on the side. I love travelling and am very happy to be living in Edinburgh, where I'll be based for the next two years. I'm passionate about literacy and encouraging kids to read for fun, and my dream is to work in public libraries running community programs like bookclubs, knitting circles, digital literacy courses, etc.
My Experience
I am the oldest of four siblings, so I grew up looking after little kids. I also taught ballet classes for 3 years, working with children aged 3-16. I have babysat for several families in Toronto, and would be happy to provide references.
Beyond basic childminding, I'm happy to do meal-prep and housework. I have experience as a private housekeeper and I genuinely enjoy those domestic tasks. I'm also good at helping with homework -- especially if it's arts related.
My Qualifications
I have a babysitting certificate from St. John's Ambulance in Canada.
My Availability
I am seeking morning and early afternoon work so that I can fit it around my restaurant job.
