Amazing experience with this childminder

My son joined Paint the Rainbow at 14 months old just as I was starting work again. I was so nervous to put my trust in someone else to care for my baby, as up until then I had been with him most of the time. Discovering that Shiree was a former Nursery manager definitely helped ease my nerves. When I went to meet Shiree at her home with my son, I felt immediately comfortable with her. She is smiley and relaxed, whilst being incredibly organised and her flat was welcoming and clean stocked with great toys. What really sold me though was when my son turned to Shiree and went to sit on her lap, something he would never do with someone other than me!
I could see he felt safe around her and felt so reassured. I do think you get a feeling when you find the right childcare provider, and I definitely did with Shiree. My son is still with Shiree and Chanel every week, and he absolutely loves being with them for the day. He gets excited to go, and when he comes home he lists off all his friends there and the fun things he does. He always comes back such a happy boy. His vocabulary, fine motor skills and joy for life has certainly expanded since being at Paint the rainbow, and I love that he gets to hang out with other children his age. The activities Shiree and Chanel do with the kids are so well thought through, perfectly appropriate for their age, educational and fun. They go outside all the time on different trips to farms, zoo's, museums and gardens and are always updating us with the fun days they have had. Overall, I honestly can't rave enough about this childminder. Shiree's expertise is very clear and my husband and I are beyond grateful that we found her.
