About Me

I'm Liv and I am registered as a childminder through an Ofsted approved agency. I have a varied background career wise but most recently I have been working as a chef and business owner (of a cafe/restaurant) but I'm also a qualified midwife (not practising). In my spare time I am part of a local amateur dramatics society so singing and dancing will form a big part of my childcare provision! I also love to sew and craft so there will be plenty of similar opportunities for the children. We attend a few local play groups each week so the children are able to meet and mix with a wider group of children.

My Experience

When I was younger I did a lot of babysitting and after school care but I am now a qualified childminder and have been working since August 2025. I have two children of my own Orla (5) and Juniper (14 months).

My Qualifications

I have qualified via a childminder agency training programme. I also have a 1st class BSc(Hons) degree in Midwifery from Bournemouth University, level 3 food hygiene certificate and a paediatric first aid certificate.

My Availability

I currently have a space on a Thursday for childcare and I will have a Monday and Tuesday space available from the end of July.

I also have some space for after school care from Shirehampton Primary School.

I offer childcare Monday-Thursday from 8.15-5.30 but I do have some flexibility so if you are looking for extending or varied hours please do get in touch.
