About Me

Hi, I'm a caring, patient, and responsible childcare practitioner with experience working in a nursery and supporting children of different ages. Alongside my professional experience, I have spent many years caring for my nieces, nephews, and younger cousins, which has helped me develop strong childcare skills and a genuine passion for working with children.

I currently work in a nursery, where I support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play, creative activities, reading, and daily routines. I also volunteer as a Sunday school teacher, helping children learn, build confidence, and develop positive values in a fun and supportive environment.

I love babysitting because I enjoy building positive relationships with children and watching them grow, learn new skills, and gain confidence. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel happy, secure, and encouraged to be themselves.

My skills include planning age-appropriate activities, supporting children's emotional wellbeing, encouraging learning through play, reading stories, arts and crafts, baking, and helping children develop early literacy and numeracy skills. I am also experienced in following routines, preparing meals, and ensuring children's safety at all times.

I have experience supporting children with additional needs, including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I understand the importance of patience, adapting activities to individual needs, and working closely with parents and other professionals to ensure every child feels included, supported, and valued.
