About Me
Im a student currently studying at Liverpool hope university! I’m originally from Northern Ireland but I have moved here for my studies. I’m studying SEN with PE as I have such a passion for working with kids especially those with additional needs. I have always had a drive to work with children back home I volunteered at a local church youth club for over 3 years! Before coming to University I worked as a special needs youth worker where we taught the kids about life skills as well as doing fun activities such as going to the cinema and on days out in country parks!
I have worked with children of all ages and all abilities as well as youth work I also did a lot of babysitting back home for children of family and family friends and I just loved it! I think it’s so important parents have time to themselves whilst also knowing their children are in good hands! I hope I can be of help to your family! My Experience
I have three years of experience as a volunteer youth worker at a local church youth club, where I provided mentorship and support to young people, planned engaging activities, and fostered a safe, inclusive environment. Additionally, I worked as a special needs youth worker for the HeroesPlus Project, supporting young people with diverse needs by assisting in tailored activities and ensuring they felt included and valued. Alongside these roles, I have gained extensive childcare experience by looking after children for family members and neighbors during summers while they worked.
My Qualifications
I am currently working towards a degree in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Physical Education (PE), further building my knowledge and skills in supporting young people. I have an A-Level in Sport Coaching with Children, which has provided me with a strong foundation in coaching techniques, child development, and creating inclusive sporting environments. Additionally, I hold a GCSE in Child Development, giving me valuable insight into the physical, emotional, and cognitive growth of children
