My Summary

My Experience

I have worked as qualified and registered Occupational Therapist for over 12 years. This role has enabled me to work in a variety of settings, supporting both children and adults. I have always been particularly drawn to children's occupational therapy and have experience supporting children and young people in schools, assessing them in clinics and running groups. Since taking a career break following starting my own family, I made the decision to no longer practice OT. Despite this, my passion and experience with working with children with additional needs remains and I feel I have many transferable skills to share.

I have experience working with typically developing children as well as those with with mobility difficulties, neurodevelopmental disorders, sensory processing differences/difficulties, anxiety, PDA, Down's Syndrome, global developmental delay etc.

Whilst studying for my degree I worked a support worker for a young people with considerable physical and learning disabilities. I have also worked as a part time nanny alongside my studies.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

Initial meet with parents and child for up to 30 minutes - No charge

All other services including babysitting, mother's help, accompanying on community outings, support accessing universal services etc - £15p/hour
