About Me
I am currently studying Primary Education at University and will be heading into my 3rd year of the course. I have previous experience working with young children as part of my University placement, I recently taught a Primary 1 class. I have experience working in an after school club where I have been situated for over 1yr, the club includes a range of ages. The age range there was from 4-12yrs, therefore i have worked to meet the needs of all children no matter their age or learning stage. I am a positive, trustworthy and patient person with a passion to work with children in my future. I also have previous experience with both volunteering and working at summer clubs and babysitting jobs.
My Experience
I have experience in teaching younger aged children aged, 6-7 basic numeracy, literacy and music. I have experience in being a teaching assistant to older years aged 7-9. I have previous experience in babysitting both younger and older children. I have worked in both summer clubs and after school clubs where the ages have ranged massively from nursery aged children to children almost high school age.
My Qualifications
I have a national 4 qualification in childcare. I have six national 5 qualifications which include: Drama, Music, English, Maths, Biology and Business . I also have five higher qualifications which include: English, Music, Drama, Geography and French. I’m currently working towards a BA Honours in primary education.
My Availability
Currently I am available to work any day or night mid week aside from weekends. However, when I go back to University my availability will become less midweek mornings and afternoons, however I will still be available during most midweek nights.
