A reliable, safe, and joyful childminder

When we stayed in Brighton for six months from Japan, we entrusted our 4-year-old daughter to Karlie’s House. In one word—it was the best experience she could have had, and we are deeply grateful to Karlie.

Karlie took the children out almost every day, and the range of activities was remarkably diverse. She encouraged creative and spontaneous play through contact with nature, making art, pizza-making, and many other hands-on experiences. Our daughter also frequently joined forest school sessions. Karlie has a deep understanding of how children can play and explore in nature — and this is the aspect we highly appreciate.

Although it was initially difficult for her to communicate in English, she gradually became comfortable and confident. She started engaging with Karlie and the other children without hesitation. I believe this was thanks to Karlie’s patience and her warm, attentive approach to children.

Karlie is incredibly reliable. Her safety management is excellent, and she always provides clear and detailed information in advance. Every day she sends many photos and written updates of the activities, and we truly enjoyed receiving them.

She is a wonderful educator and caregiver—we have nothing but gratitude for her.
