About Me

Hello! My name is Charlotte. I am 26 years old. Currently, I am working as a research assistant at UCL in child and adolescent mental health. I am originally from Germany, but have been living in London for the past 6 years! I am caring, responsible and empathetic.

My Experience

I have extensive experience working with children in both caregiving and educational settings. As an Au Pair in Paris, I cared for two young boys (aged 1 and 3) daily, managing school drop-offs and pick-ups, preparing meals, organizing educational activities, and ensuring their well-being through play and bedtime routines. I also provided frequent babysitting, further strengthening my childcare experience.

Additionally, as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), I supported children with ASD, ADHD, and learning disabilities, tailoring interventions to their individual needs. I also occasionally worked in the school nursery, gaining hands-on experience with early childhood development. My academic background in psychology and clinical neurodevelopment has given me a strong understanding of child development and milestones, which I can apply effectively in practice.

I hold a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Clinical Neurodevelopmental Sciences.
