About Me
I’m a caring, responsible, and experienced adult who genuinely enjoys working with children of all ages. I taught kids 3 to 9 at different points in a nursery and primary school in Lagos, Nigeria from 2015 to 2024. During that time, I developed strong skills in managing young learners, supporting their growth, and creating safe, engaging learning environments.
Beyond the classroom, I worked closely with teenagers (ages 13–17) in my local church from 2013 to 2022, providing guidance, mentoring, and support. From January 2023 to March 2025, I also served as a children’s teacher, helping little ones feel seen, heard, and nurtured.
I’m 38 years old, married, and a proud mum to a 16-year-old daughter named Great. Being a parent has deepened my understanding of children’s needs and made me even more passionate about supporting families.
Now living in Motherwell, Scotland and pursuing a postgraduate degree in Health and Social Care, I bring both passion and hands-on experience into any role involving children. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to helping every child feel safe, supported, and happy.
My Experience
Over the years, I’ve built strong, practical experience working with children and young people in different settings. I’ve supported children with reading, writing, play-based learning, group activities, and emotional wellbeing. I’m confident with behaviour management, setting routines, and creating a safe, encouraging space where children feel valued and understood.
I’ve also worked with teenagers, so I understand how to balance support with independence as children grow. I know how to connect, listen, and respond in a way that builds trust and confidence. I’m patient, attentive, and calm under pressure - whether helping with homework, managing transitions, or just being a steady, reassuring presence in a child’s day.

My Availability
I am currently available four to six days a week, including after-school care, evenings, and weekends. I am also open to short-notice and emergency cover where possible. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to discuss specific needs with families to find the best fit.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
I charge £11 per hour for a child, £15 for two kids, and £20 for three for my childminding services. This rate reflects my years of hands-on experience, genuine care for children, and the safe, nurturing support I provide.
