Hi! My name is Zainab Adams, I’m 21 years old and currently studying Psychology with Counselling at university. My passion for understanding people, especially children, shines through in everything I do. With a strong background in childcare, I’ve spent years surrounded by younger family members and have always naturally taken on the role of babysitter.
Through these experiences, I’ve developed a deep sense of patience, responsibility, and creativity. My background in psychology also gives me a unique insight into child behavior, emotional needs, and how to approach different personalities with care and empathy. I believe in building strong, respectful relationships with both children and parents and creating routines that make everyone feel comfortable and secure.
My Experience
I have gained experience working in a nursery a couple of years ago. There, I worked alongside qualified early years practitioners, supporting children’s daily routines, encouraging developmental play, and helping maintain a safe, nurturing environment. This role taught me how to manage small groups of children, follow safeguarding procedures, and communicate effectively with both kids and their parents.
My Qualifications
In addition to my hands-on experience, I hold two college qualifications in Health and Social Care and Travel and Tourism, both achieved at A level. These subjects helped strengthen my understanding of people, communication, and well-being—all of which feed into my approach to childcare. I also have my GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science, achieving grade 4s in each.
My Availability
My availability’s are Monday to Friday as I am off uni so I can work any times during the week.
