My Requirements
Hello!
We’re looking for a kind, experienced childminder or nanny in the Maidenhead area to care for our 21-month-old son, Ruben, during our visit from Singapore this summer.
We’re hoping for half-day support (mornings or afternoons) throughout July and August, with some flexibility depending on availability.
Ruben is a curious, independent minded and fun loving little boy who loves being outdoors, exploring, and observing the world around him. We follow a play-led, child-centred approach, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys engaging with toddlers in a relaxed, responsive way rather than structured or formal learning.
Ideally, you are:
Warm, patient, and experienced with toddlers
Happy to spend time outdoors (parks, garden play, walks)
Reliable and communicative
DBS checked (or willing to provide references)
We’ll be based with his grandparents in Maidenhead, so this is a lovely short-term role for the summer.

Super friendly, always punctual, and a very clear, thoughtful communicator. My son took to Karis straight away, which made a huge difference. She really prioritised maximising his sleep during a period when he was heavily teething, and we felt very confident having her support us during a challenging time
