Hi All,
I am a degree educated, highly experienced Maternity Nurse/Nanny/Post Natal Doula. I have extensive experience working with children 0-16 years both in an educational setting and in private households gaining experience both internationally and abroad.
My passion is with working with children, understanding child development and playing my part in giving them the best possible start in life. I feel as though it is my role to nurture and support a child's wider learning in a kind, gentle and holistic way.
I also have a considerable amount of experience working with children with Special Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties, as well as working with UHNW and high profile families.
More recently I have completed my Level 5 Maternity Nurse qualification from the London School of Childcare Studies as well as a Post Natal Doula course.
Experience has taught me that I work best with families where there is excellent communication, teamwork, kindness and mutual respect among the adults.
My interests include but are not limited to; yoga, painting, meditation, travel, diving, energy work, spirituality, understanding consciousness and finding as much joy in this lifetime as I possibly can.

My Experience
I have worked in both school settings and private households since 2007.
In schools I mostly worked with children with children and young people that had behavioural and SEMH difficulties. I also have extensive experience working in VIP/UHNW households both in the UK and abroad, as well as working on location during the filming of a movie, supporting a Director and her baby.
My career thus far has included working with all developmental stages although more recently I have focused on newborn care and have completed my Level 5 Maternity Nurse course in addition to a Post Natal Doula course.

Super friendly, always punctual, and a very clear, thoughtful communicator. My son took to Karis straight away, which made a huge difference. She really prioritised maximising his sleep during a period when he was heavily teething, and we felt very confident having her support us during a challenging time

We can't recommend Karis enough as a nanny! She’s been an incredible source of support for our family since May 2025, caring for our newborn and lively 2.5-year-old on a part-time, co-caring arrangement.
Karis is a positive, genuine, and kind person. Her calming presence was a lifesaver on our most chaotic days.
She’s a natural with children, right away she was able to form a strong bond. Karis has taught our music-loving toddler useful songs to help him regulate his emotions and energy at the end of the day. She has handled all aspects of childcare, from bottle feeding and nappy changes to supporting our sleep routines and preparing meals, as well as proactively supporting us with light housework. Karis would also often take our toddler to the park and baby on walks. She handled our toddler’s challenging moments with a calm and professional demeanor, and she's genuinely invested in our children's holistic development.
We feel fortunate to have had Karis's help and can’t recommend her enough to any family looking for a caring, experienced and professional nanny.

Karis has been helping us with general housekeeping and looking after our baby from when he was six months old, including babysitting when we went out in the evening. She’s totally reliable and a proactive and clear communicator, so it’s easy to plan. She gets on really well with our baby and he has a great time with her. She’s also very personable and a nice person to have around (much of the time she’s been with us we’ve been at home too), always energetic and cheerful but also someone you can talk to about your concerns (and as first time parents, we have many!). She’s happy to take direction on how to care for the baby, and is really good at taking initiative and noticing the small details about how we do things, and seeing what other bits of housework or prep need to be done. She also shares her extensive experience with caring for small children in a really friendly and helpful way. We’re looking forward to having her care for the baby as he grows up!
