Hey! My name is Raevv'n (pronounced like the bird, Raven) and I'm an actress who just moved from Toronto, Canada to Brighton. I have a little miniature-dachshund named Lula-Mae who's wonderful with children and cats, and I absolutely adore kids. I love to sing, play games, go for walks, swim, read books (with many a character-voice performance) and truly am an energetic and open-minded individual who loves the imagination, curiosity and passion that children bring into my life.
My Experience
I grew up babysitting, working at camps, and then eventually opening my own small-business in Toronto where I worked and organized children's birthday parties as a character/act named Rainbow Rae who did lots of sing-along time, games and so much more! I also have a niece (5 years old) and nephew (2 years old) back home who I regularly spent most of my weekends with. I have my acting jobs that I do when I book them, and then I work a part-time fully remote marketing job but am looking to fill out my weeks a bit more and get to know more people and the neighbourhoods that Brighton has to offer!
My Qualifications
As I mentioned above in my experience paragraph, I have babysat on and off ever since I was a teenager up until my move to Brighton. I was most recently a regular babysitter for a family that lived in my neighbourhood in Toronto, they had a girl and a boy (ages 5 and 8 years old) and I would babysit them a few times a month. I was also a camp counsellor earlier in life. Lastly, I also ran my own small-business working and organising children's birthday parties in Toronto, during these events I was responsible for up to 35 kids all at the same time.
