My Experience
I am currently at college where I am studying health and social care, law and criminology but I am soon leaving in May so I am looking for a full time job in childcare before I go to university to study nursing. In the past I completed my work experience in a nursery which I thoroughly enjoyed working with children ages 2-4. I worked with them to enhance their numeracy and literacy skills to ensure they were prepared for primary school. I also provided comfort and empathy towards the children especially if there were disputes among the children. I currently work at a residential care home working as a healthcare assistant this allowed me to achieve my certificates that are transferable into childcare such as lifesaving procedures, autism and learning difficulties awareness and other areas that were necessary for me to learn. Before I was able to work as a healthcare assistant I also completed a DBS check.

As stated I gained qualifications when I was working as a healthcare assistant plus a completed DBS check.
