I am a caring, reliable, and positive person with over 10 years of experience working with children from the ages of 0-8 years old. I am Paediatric First Aid trained and have worked with children with SEND. I am passionate about art and cooking, and I really enjoy being as creative as possible with children when I babysit. I also have lots of experience during bath time/bedtime if required—I know a lot of nursery rhymes that come in handy during bedtime routines.
My Experience
Caring for children has been an incredibly rewarding and dynamic journey. Throughout the years, I’ve had the privilege of looking after kids of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, and each phase brings its own unique joys and challenges. I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel free to explore, learn, and express themselves.
For younger ones, I focus on establishing routines and providing engaging activities that stimulate their senses, encourage motor skills, and promote early socialization. With older children, my goal is to build trust and foster open communication, while supporting their development through educational pursuits, assisting with schoolwork, and encouraging independent decision-making.
