About Me
I am a 28 year old ex-teacher who is looking for a part time position with a fun and friendly family in the Bristol/Bath area. In my spare time, I am a writer and a hiker so you will most often find me traipsing about the landscape, reading old poetry books and trying to work out bird calls.
As the eldest daughter of six siblings ranging from age 8 to 26 (all of whom are neurodivergent), I am someone is used to working in challenging or busy scenarios. It has also meant that I have learnt to be a stable and calming presence when required. I am as up for playing board games with your children while we wait for you to come home as I am preparing breakfast and getting your kids to school on time. My experience as a SEND teaching assistant, as well as my personal experience with neurodivergence, means that I am able to adapt to your child's needs and support them in anyway they may need.
I'm an enthusiastic and fun person to have around, eager for both play and helping with homework after a long school day. You may find that your children's results may even improve due to my experiences as a teacher and TA!
I have my own car and have been driving for almost ten years, with experience using car seats often for my brothers, so I am very confident completing the school run for you.
I can begin in as quick as a week and I am flexible with hours, allowing for all the silliness of life to not impact whether or not you have childcare!

I am also the eldest of 6 children, all of whom have varying levels of neurodivergence. My siblings range from 8 years old to 26 years old and I have often looked after them, taking them on day trips to interesting and new places. Whilst they were awaiting joining a new school, I was also drafted in to support with some home-schooling, most often with English of course but I also supported with History, Geography and Art.

My Availability
I am available for part time roles, ideally 3 days a week. I am usually unavailable for evenings and weekends but I can be potentially flexible depending on the situation and for the right family!

- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
Fees will be £14 an hour but for long time contracts, this can be negotiable
