My Experience

While working with the Robin Hood Army, I had the privilege of supporting and teaching children from underserved communities, including a group of visually impaired children. I organised educational sessions, planned inclusive play activities, and created a safe, joyful space where each child felt seen, heard, and cared for. The children I worked with responded to me with affection and trust — especially those with special needs, who found comfort in my calm and consistent approach. Through this role, I developed strong childcare skills, the ability to manage diverse groups, and the sensitivity required to support children emotionally and educationally , all of which I now bring to my work with families.
