My Experience
I have been working in childcare since 2020 and have gained a wide range of experience in different settings. I started as a childminder and have since done private babysitting, after-school nannying, and full-time nannying roles. I have also worked in a private nursery, which has strengthened my understanding of early years development and structured care.
In addition to professional roles, I have regularly cared for my nieces and nephews, giving me strong hands-on experience in a family environment.
I have worked with children from as young as 3 months old up to 12 years old, so I am confident adapting to different age groups and their individual needs.
My responsibilities have included preparing meals, changing nappies, managing allergies, supporting bedtime routines, helping with homework, and organising fun and educational activities. I have also taken children to and from school and after-school clubs, ensuring they are safe and well cared for at all times.
I hold a Level 2 qualification in EYFS, I am First Aid trained, and I have a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
