I have always loved working with children. From a young age, I have taken care of my little sister, as well as my niece and nephews, which has given me a deep sense of responsibility and joy in watching them grow and develop. I’ve also had the privilege of working as a nanny for a family whose children attended the nursery I worked at. I built a close bond with them, and it was incredibly rewarding to be part of their lives, watching them learn new things every day. Sadly, after the passing of our manager, me and the family went our separate ways, but the experience remains one of the most meaningful times in my life.
My Experience
I have several years of experience caring for children of various ages, from babies to young children. I currently work in a nursery setting where I support children under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for their development.
In addition to my work with the nursery I also provide babysitting services for families I’ve met through my old childminding workplace, as well as for my own nieces and nephews. I’m confident with routines like feeding, nappy changes, bedtime, and play-based learning, and I always aim to make children feel comfortable, secure, and engaged while in my care.
