I offer flexible childcare around my self-employed work, meaning I can often work around your family’s schedule and am happy to discuss regular or occasional childcare. I previously worked in a nursery, where I gained lots of experience caring for children and absolutely loved working with them. I’m caring, patient and responsible, and I’m happy to help with playtime, activities, meals, routines, homework and general childcare depending on what your family needs. I always aim to make children feel happy, comfortable and safe while giving parents peace of mind.
My Experience
I previously worked in a nursery, where I gained hands-on experience caring for children and supporting them throughout their daily routines. I worked with children of different ages and helped with activities, playtime, meals, personal care and ensuring they were safe and happy throughout the day. I really enjoyed building relationships with the children and getting to know their individual personalities and needs.
My nursery experience also taught me to be patient, responsible and attentive, as well as how to communicate with both children and parents. I’m comfortable managing busy situations and understand the importance of creating a safe, fun and supportive environment for children.
My Qualifications
During my time working in a nursery, I completed a number of training courses as part of my role. These included training relating to childcare, safeguarding and the health and safety of children. I also received workplace training and guidance on nursery procedures and the responsibilities involved in caring for children.
