About Me
I moved to the UK last September to pursue my Master of Business Administration. I hold an undergraduate degree and have also completed a professional qualification as a Company Secretary. After working at a CS firm for about four years, I decided to transition into teaching and joined a school in my hometown that serves underprivileged children. I taught students across various age groups, from primary school to 11th grade.
In addition to my academic and professional background, I have been formally trained in classical dance for over 15 years. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and have a natural rapport with them, which makes me great with kids.
I’m currently looking for opportunities to earn some extra income while I complete my course and prepare to enter the job market.
My Experience
From adolescence, I’ve felt a compelling urge to contribute to creating a better environment for underprivileged youths. Despite the demands of my academic pursuits, I prioritised this passion. I began teaching commerce subjects (Business studies, Accountancy, Economics and Mathematics) and English to college students after hours at an NPO. I witnessed marked academic improvements in short periods. In the mornings, I engaged with kindergarteners, focusing on basic literacy and numeracy, and researched and implemented games, enhancing analytical development. For older students, I offered individualized academic support tailored to their backgrounds and challenges, while also providing a listening ear for their personal struggles. Additionally, I assisted in establishing a new preschool, contributing in a multi-dimensional way to inventory management, curriculum, soft skills and workbook evolution. My suggestions for pre-school skill development were adopted into their curriculum. I hope that all the students I shared study methods with have benefitted from our conversation. I remain available for them to reach out at all times.
