About Me
Hi! I’m Emily,
I’ve just finished a really lovely summer working part-time as a nanny/ babysitter for a family, who I’ll be returning to work with again, alongside continuing to support other families with regular babysitting and childcare. It’s been such a rewarding experience, and I really enjoy building long-term, trusted relationships with the families I work with.
I’m currently studying Interior Architecture at Oxford Brookes University. While I’m not available for regular weekday childcare until May, I’m keen to connect with families in advance and am happy to discuss babysitting, ad-hoc help, or future arrangements.
I’m originally from Guernsey, where I’ve worked with several families providing babysitting (including over Christmas this year). I now live between Guernsey and Cheshire, and I’m looking to base myself more in Cheshire around my internships and work over the summer, focusing my childcare work more locally going forward.
I have a full UK driving licence and my own Volkswagen Polo, so I’m very flexible and happy to help with school runs, activities, food shopping, dog walking, days out, or general day-to-day childcare.
I’m responsible, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with children. I’d be very happy to have a chat or arrange an initial meet-up to see if I might be a good fit for your family.
My Experience
Over the months of July and August, I’ve been caring almost fully part time for one family, building a great relationship with their boy and supporting their daily routines and offering flexible hands off babysitting, and occasional childcare for other families as needed.
In the past I’ve babysat for many friends and family members, and I really value creating strong, trusting relationships with children of all ages.
My Qualifications
I have completed my GCSE’s at Blanchelande College and my Level 3 OCR Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles, I’m currently in my first year doing Interior Architecture at Oxford Brooke’s University
