About Me
I’m a newly qualified teacher in lower primary (3-7 years) with experience working in different classroom settings in local primary schools around Lancaster. I am flexible to work babysitting or tutoring jobs considering my experience working with children, both online and offline.
My Experience
I have experience working as a trainee teacher in three distinct schools as part of the PGCE placement. Hence, I am well versed in teaching the curriculum and educational practices in the UK. Recently, I worked as an Early Years Practitioner (part-time) at Moorside preschool, involving in nappy changing, contributing to the planning process, building partnerships with the parents and work in the after-school club provision. Also, I have worked a few supply TA roles previously around Lancaster. I have a solid experience working as an online tutor over various platforms such as Zoom, FEVtutor (a learning management system) and also home tutoring for children aged 6-12 years from India.
My Qualifications
I’m recently qualified with a PGCE in Lower Primary (3-7 years) with QTS from the University of Cumbria, Lancaster. I have a master’s degree in Fisheries Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology, India. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Bharata Mata College, Kochi, India.
My Availability
Flexible to work evenings and on weekends. Also, willing to meet the client requirements ahead of time. Can be available in case of emergencies.
