Hello! I’m an experienced and emotionally attuned childcare provider with a passion for supporting young people at all stages of development. I currently work as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school, supporting young people with additional needs. My background combines creative communication (having previously come from a career in videography with large scale organisations). I have fine tuned educational support skills which I now bring into my childcare work. I’m on the path to becoming an Educational Psychologist, as I’ve discovered that working with and advocating for children is where I thrive. Whether you need a few hours’ rest as a new parent, evening babysitting, or weekend support, I bring calm, trustworthy energy into your home. During school holidays, I’m more widely available and flexible. I see working with children not just as a job, but as a vocation. My Experience
I have over ten years of experience caring for children ranging from newborns to teenagers. What began as babysitting for family and friends evolved into a passion for supporting young people’s growth and learning. After designing and teaching a practical filmmaking course for young people, I transitioned into a role as a Learning Support Assistant for secondary aged students. I’m committed to compassionate, person-centered care, and I hold full DBS clearance, First Aid training, and a strong reputation for reliability.
My Qualifications
I hold a BA(Hons) and will be pursuing my Masters part-time in order to eventually be a child/educational psychologist.
My Availability
I am currently available in the evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday, however during school holidays I will have more flexibility.
