About Me
Hello! I’m an Ofsted-registered childminder with Tiney (inspected March 2025) with over 15 years of experience working in early years education. I provide high-quality childcare in a warm, nurturing home environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive.
My setting is a newly refurbished, purpose-built nursery space with a child-friendly toilet and changing area. It is fully childproofed and CCTV secured, creating a bright, welcoming environment where children can learn and explore through play.
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and have many years of experience supporting children of all ages, including those with special educational needs.
Children enjoy EYFS-based activities, outdoor play in a secure garden, and local outings to parks, toddler groups, libraries, farms, and nature trails to encourage curiosity and confidence.

As a mum of two, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. My aim is to provide a safe, caring, family-centred environment where every child feels supported to learn, grow, and thrive.
My Experience
With over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages, I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. I have previously worked as a Manager and Acting Deputy and have led summer play schemes for many years, giving me strong experience in planning fun, engaging activities. I also have extensive experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring each child’s individual needs are met with care and understanding.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and keep my training up to date, including current paediatric first aid certification. This ensures I can provide the highest standard of care and respond confidently and safely in any situation. Parents can feel reassured knowing their children are in capable, caring hands.
My Availability
My childminding hours start at 8:00am, offering a breakfast club to help children start their day happy and settled. Main sessions run from 9:00am until 4:00pm, providing a full day of learning and play in a caring environment.
Please note that I currently offer care during term time only.
My Fees
- Childminding from £9.50 per hour
I take on funded sessions from 9months 2,3&4 year old funded sessions available too
Paid sessions rate from £9.50 per hour or £70 for full day (8 hours)
£35 half day sessions (4hours)

My little one has been with Polly since september. She is amazing with him and works around his routine. His communication and confidence has had significant improvements since his been attending and she is so flexible to his needs. He also had medical needs and I feel confident and reassured when he is with Polly as she is able to manage all his medical needs. She also uses a holistic approach and works with children as individuals. She is very professional and her setting has a wide range of toys both indoor and outdoor.

Polly is such an amazing childminder! My child has come on leaps and bounds at her setting. He is always coming home and saying new words, bringing home amazing artwork and food/snacks he has made whilst there.
Polly and her husband do fun activities with my child including visiting local attractions such as the farm and pumpkin patch which was a first for my child.
Communication is 10/10. She uses an app and sends us regular updates throughout the day regarding food, personal care and all activities my child does so I am never worried about what he is doing or if he has eaten. She also provides lots of fresh fruits and snacks, which my child loves.
You can tell she has years of experience and my child is being given so much love and attention. I cannot recommend her enough :)
