My Experience

Hi, I’m Nisha Hussain, a 26-year-old babysitter based in Sheffield, with over 6 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I have extensive experience caring for multiple children at a time and supporting families with different needs. I’m currently caring for a family with three children — a one-year-old boy whom I have cared for since he was four months old, a five-year-old girl with autism, and a nine-year-old boy. In addition, I have cared for another family’s two children for several years — a girl whom I began looking after when she was six (now twelve), and a younger boy whom I have cared for since he was a baby and is now five.

My responsibilities include preparing healthy meals, supporting schoolwork, organising fun and educational activities, maintaining routines, and ensuring each child’s safety and well-being. I’m a caring, loving, and responsible individual who always looks after the children in my care to the best of my ability. I’m also reliable, patient, and creative, whether it’s helping with homework, organising engaging activities, or assisting with light household tasks. I’m available for both regular and occasional babysitting, and references are available upon request — I’d love to hear from you!

My Qualifications

I have valuable experience working in both nurseries and schools, where I’ve supported children in their learning, development, and daily routines. I have worked at Broomhill Infant School and Beck Primary School, where I gained hands-on experience assisting teachers, organising classroom activities, and supporting children with a range of learning needs and abilities. These roles have strengthened my communication, patience, and organisational skills, as well as my ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Alongside my practical experience, I hold a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and professional care standards. I’m passionate about using my knowledge and experience to provide the highest level of care and support to every child I look after.
