My Experience

I am currently working as a nanny for a 7-year-old child, where I provide full support with daily routines and care. My responsibilities include school drop-offs and pick-ups, assisting with homework, preparing meals, and organising fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.

I also speak Portuguese with the child, helping them develop language skills in a natural and interactive way through conversation and play.

I focus on creating a safe, structured, and positive environment, while encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence. I adapt to the child’s individual needs and ensure consistency in routines, supporting both their wellbeing and development.

Through this role, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to remain calm and reliable in different situations. I also work closely with parents to maintain trust and provide the best possible care.

My Qualifications

I bring a strong combination of hands-on experience and personal qualities that support my work as a nanny and babysitter. I am fluent in Portuguese and English, with basic knowledge of Mandarin and Spanish, which allows me to introduce children to new languages in a fun and engaging way.

I have experience as a freelance babysitter, as well as a background in mentoring through my involvement as a Rotary Youth Exchange volunteer, where I supported international students in adapting to a new culture. This experience strengthened my sense of responsibility, empathy, and leadership.

In addition, I have completed a negotiation certificate through Santander Academy and studied Mandarin at Wenzao Ursuline University in Taiwan. While I do not currently hold formal childcare certifications such as CPR, I am calm, attentive, and highly dependable, always prioritising children’s safety and wellbeing.

Overall, I am a responsible, communicative, and trustworthy caregiver who is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and positive environment for children.

My Availability

I am available in the mornings before 10:00 AM and in the afternoons/evenings from 4:00 PM onwards, including night-time and overnight support if needed.

I am flexible within these hours and happy to accommodate short-term or one-off arrangements, especially during important periods such as childbirth support.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My standard rate is £15 per hour, depending on the number of children and specific responsibilities required.

For overnight stays or short-term bookings (such as childbirth support), rates can be discussed and agreed upon in advance to suit the family’s needs.

I am flexible and happy to consider one-off or short-term arrangements, ensuring fair pricing while providing high-quality, reliable care.
