My Experience

I have over 3 years of hands-on childcare experience through volunteering with Girlguiding and regularly caring for my partner’s younger brothers (since they were 4, now 8). At Girlguiding, I help plan and lead fun, engaging activities, manage groups of young girl (ages 4-7), and ensure their safety, focus, and enjoyment throughout.

At home, I’ve supported with everything from bedtime routines and mealtimes to homework help and creative play. I’m confident working with energetic little ones, always calm and responsible, and genuinely love creating a fun, structured space where kids can feel safe, supported, and themselves.

My Qualifications

Enhanced DBS (from medical school & Girlguiding)

First aid trained

Currently studying Medicine at university

Full UK driving licence

Strong academic background (all 9s/A*s) – happy to support with homework

3+ years of hands-on childcare experience

My Availability

I’m very flexible throughout the summer and can offer care during the day, evenings, and weekends. I’m also available for school runs and ad hoc last-minute bookings. I have my own car and can travel locally.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate is £12/hr, which includes help with homework, cooking meals, school pick-ups/drop-offs, and bedtime support. For regular bookings or school runs, I’m happy to agree a flat weekly rate that suits your needs - am happy to negotiate if needed.
