My Experience

I have two years of hands-on experience working in childcare, during which I’ve cared for children of various ages in nursery settings. My role has included planning engaging activities, supporting early learning and development, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment. I’ve developed strong skills in managing routines, responding to children’s individual needs, and building positive relationships with both children and parents. My experience has taught me the importance of patience, communication, and creating a fun, nurturing space where children feel comfortable and valued.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 2 qualification as an Early Years Practitioner and have completed a wide range of training to support my role in childcare. I am first aid trained and have received thorough training in child protection awareness, safeguarding and welfare requirements, FGM recognition and prevention. I’ve also completed courses in manual handling, food safety and hygiene, food allergy and intolerance awareness, and Prevent awareness. My professional development includes training in understanding child development and the EYFS, child development from birth to 5 years, managing children’s behaviour, supporting emotional regulation, good autism practice, and verbal reasoning. This comprehensive training allows me to provide safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate care for children of all ages.

My Availability

Due to my current job, I’m only available for babysitting during weekday evenings. However, I’m fully available on weekends and happy to help during the day or evening. I always aim to be flexible where possible and will do my best to accommodate your family’s needs within my schedule.
