About Me
Before I became a mother I worked as a veterinary surgeon and scientist, but decided after my son was born that I wanted to have a job where he could be with me. We both love nannying and I find the children in my care get a lot out of spending time with my son, now nearly two years old.
I am confident with young kids and am reliable, hard-working and kind. I follow a gentle parenting philosophy and don't use screens. I'm experienced with baby-led weaning, babywearing, reusable nappies and using a potty with babies. I'm happy to do contact naps if this is what your child is used to.
My Experience
As well as raising my own son, I've looked after similar-aged and younger children alongside him for the past year. Before becoming a mother, my work involved teaching and mentoring school kids.
My Qualifications
I don't have any childcare-specific qualifications but am a qualified veterinary surgeon. I am open to becoming Ofsted-registered if that's important to you.
My Availability
I am available from 8 September on an ad hoc or regular basis. I would ideally work for around 15 hours a week and am available between 9am and 5pm every day except for Friday.
