I am originally from Slovakia and moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 18. My journey in childcare began as a live-in nanny, where I was responsible for the care of three young children.
This early experience sparked a deep and lasting passion for working with children and young people.
Motivated by this passion, I pursued higher education in the UK and obtained a degree in Youth Work and Psychology from the University of Leicester. Over the years, I have built a broad and versatile background in education and care. I have experience working with children and young people from birth to 21 years of age, including in my role as a manager at a residential home for children and adolescents with complex needs.
Currently, I am a qualified primary school teacher, working with Year 3 pupils (ages 7-8). I find great joy in creating a nurturing, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where children feel safe and encouraged to learn and grow. In addition to my professional experience, I am also a mother to four children, which has further deepened my understanding of child development, patience, and empathy.
