About Me
I’m a trainee counselling psychologist currently on placement in the NHS and as a school counsellor. I have three years experience working in Learning Support, primarily providing visual impairment support and working with young people with neurodiversity. My current professional work is with teenagers, however, I have experience in primary school settings and personal experience with close family members as infants. I have experience with some play therapy techniques and will be completing sand-tray therapy introductory training in July. I’m looking for part-time work over the school holidays, over July and August. My availability is flexible, apart from Thursdays as I have ongoing NHS work.
My Experience
I have experience working as a visual impairment learning support specialist, and as a therapist with young people in a school setting and adults in an NHS service. I worked in community care for several years support adults with mental health difficulties, my role involved providing emotional wellbeing support as well as helping with personal care, medication and de-escalation.
My Qualifications
hold a first class BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling, and an MA with Merit. I am in my final year of training of my doctorate in counselling psychology.
My Availability
I am available in July and August week days and weekends, apart from Thursdays.

My fees are a standard £13 per hour for day work. My rates may be higher for emergency or overnight work.
