My Experience
I’ve been babysitting for several years and have experience caring for children of all ages, from toddlers to pre-teens. I’ve worked with families in a range of settings, including regular evening babysitting, after-school help, and full days during holidays. I also spent time abroad with a family, providing hands-on childminding support while travelling — a role that really strengthened my ability to adapt, stay calm under pressure, and build strong bonds with children in a short space of time.
I’m confident handling routines like meal prep, playtime, bath and bedtime, as well as keeping children entertained through outdoor play, crafts, reading or simple games. I have a current enhanced DBS check, and I always put safety, patience and kindness at the heart of how I work with kids.
My Qualifications
I am DBS checked and volunteer for a local charity in Kendal. I am a Chartered Accountant and work full time during the week in finance.
