Hi! I'm an American uni student living in Derby who loves working with children. I have a BA in Psychology/Theatre with a minor in Education, and I'm currently working on my MA in Dramatherapy. I love finding creative ways to engage with kids.
My Experience
I have lots of experience (in the US, so the qualifications don't match up exactly) working with pre-school age children in childcare/preschool settings as well as more clinical behavioural support. I've also worked at summer camps and a little bit in schools. I have experience working with all ages from infants to teens, and in varying capacities (teaching, drama, behavioural support, etc), but the age group I've worked with most is 2-6. I have an enhanced DBS, but no formal UK childminding/etc qualifications since they don't match up with my experience in the US.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS check, but no other formal UK qualifications at this time.
My Availability
Currently my best availability is Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but I also have afternoon/evening availability on weekends. My schedule will change a bit in August and then again in late September.
