About Me
I am a loving, patient and compassionate person that would like to support families as a mother’s help/nanny with the skills I have accumulated in my professional and personal life. I live with my husband and 2 beautiful girls. I lead a holistic, balanced lifestyle and believe being in nature and keeping active is very important for our wellbeing. I eat a plant based diet, along side my 11 year old. However my husband and eldest eat meat, so I will cook separate meals for them. I am a non judgemental person, who does not push my personal choices on to others. I understand we are all individuals and so must our choices be, as well as our learning timelines. Myself and children adore animals, we have 9 fluffy chickens, 2 dogs and are always off exploring in the forests and hills. I have a personal experience raising a child with ASD and what it is like to be a busy mumma, trying to juggle everything. Maybe I can help you?
My Experience
I have extensive experience working with adults and children with challenging behaviour, complex care and special needs. I have worked within residential settings and respite services and have also worked as part of an outreach team working within children’s own homes. I have gained a wealth of knowledge in my previous role as a psychosocial practitioner based within a GP surgery as part of a social prescribing team. Using coaching, motivational interviewing and talking therapies to empower and help people understand how to best help themselves and promote healthy lifestyle choices and better wellbeing.
