Hello parents!
My name is Naomi and I have 8 years worth of experience of babysitting/ nanny.
I have a passion of taking care of children. I currently attend sixth form college studying health and social care in hopes of being a midwife or a social worker as I’m passionate about those career paths i love not only taking care of people but supporting them in times of need. Outside of college I’m a Bank staff at a private nursery.
My Experience
Throughout the years I’ve looked after a lot of families and children who have some what become not only a family I babysit for but my family. When taking care of children, my responsibilities included cooking making sure the children were well fed I would even include them in the process which would encourage them to eat at meal times. Preparing indoor and outdoor activities to do so that the children were entertained, I also assisted with bath times making sure that the children were clean and comfortable at all times. sometimes I would assist the children with schoolwork if needed like reading and calculations. I would also assist at bed times where I settled the children by bedtime sometimes. I would work on weekends and sometimes after school in the afternoon.
My Qualifications
I have an enhanced DBS which is on the update server.
I’m paediatric first aid certified.
I’m both level 2 food and safety and safeguarding certified.
My Availability
Free most days except Sunday.
