A wonderfully nurturing year, always with a smile!

Our son attended Angels after school during his whole reception year, and our experience was been extremely positive. Zehra played a key role in supporting a very smooth and confident transition from nursery to “big school”.
Zehra is exceptionally warm, loving, and kind, and created a nurturing, calm, and positive environment for all the children in her care. Her relationship with the children is so genuine and affectionate that the children naturally refer to Zehra as “Aunty”, which we feel speaks volumes about the sense of trust, safety, and belonging she fosters.
Our son was always very happy to go to Zehra’s setting after school and regularly talked with enthusiasm about playing with the other children, trying new food or the creative art activities he did in the afternoons. These experiences clearly contributed to his emotional wellbeing and enjoyment of the setting.
We were also very impressed by the quality and variety of food provided. Zehra is thoughtful and attentive to healthy, balanced meals, to the extent that on occasion she kindly shared some of the food with us to try at home.
In addition to her warm demeanour, we greatly valued Zehra’s ability to set clear boundaries and encourage positive behaviour. When challenges arose, she handled them calmly and constructively. At pick-up time, she always took the time to explain any behavioural issues, if present, how she addressed them, and the context behind them, which was been extremely helpful in allowing us to continue consistent conversations and guidance at home.
Overall, we feel very confident in the care our son received and are grateful for the supportive, loving, and well-structured environment that Zehra provided.
