I have extensive experience looking after friends' children and young family members.
I have previously worked with school-aged children, young carers and college students as an employee of the South Wales Reaching Wider Partnership. The organisation offers learning opportunities, advice and support to enable individuals from areas of significant social deprivation to attend higher education.
I also previously worked as a community care assistant in Swansea for several years, so I have experience working with vulnerable adults and children with additional needs (such as ASD, learning difficulties, etc.)
On my course, I regularly work with and support people from various backgrounds, many of whom live with physical disabilities, mental health problems and/or complex social situations.
My Qualifications
I have an active enhanced DBS certificate.
I have completed first aid and basic life support training.
I have completed manual handling training.
I have a medical sciences degree, and I am halfway through my degree in medicine.
My Availability
I am available from 5:00 pm until midnight on weekday evenings.
I am available all day Saturday and Sunday.
