My Experience

I have several years of experience working with children in a variety of settings:

Nursery Volunteer – I spent time volunteering at a nursery, supporting young children with daily routines, play-based learning, and emotional care. This helped me develop a nurturing and patient approach, especially with toddlers and preschool-aged children.

Babysitter & Nanny – I’ve provided care for families with children ranging from newborns to early teens. My experience includes everything from bottle-feeding, nappy changes, and soothing routines with infants, to helping older children with after-school routines, homework support, meal preparation, playtime, bath time, and bedtime.

As a nanny, I also supported families during school holidays and busy periods, offering full-day care tailored to each child’s needs and routines. I’m confident adapting to different ages and personalities, and always aim to create a calm, safe, and happy environment.

Tutor – I’ve worked as a tutor for primary and secondary school children, mainly in English, French. This has strengthened my ability to engage children in a focused and encouraging way, and support their learning with patience and creativity.

Through these roles, I’ve become confident in creating safe, fun, and structured environments for children. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and helping them feel happy, supported, and understood, whether we’re learning, playing, or just winding down.

My Qualifications

Currently studying International Business at Loughborough University.
Fluent in English and French.
Experienced with children from newborns to early teens.
Hands-on childcare experience as a babysitter, nanny, nursery volunteer, and tutor.
Strong understanding of child safety, routines, and emotional support.
Confident helping with homework, especially in languages and humanities.
Reliable, organised, and great at adapting to different family routines and needs.
While I do not hold a formal childcare qualification (such as NVQ or CACHE), I bring a warm, responsible, and attentive approach built through years of hands-on experience. I’m also happy to complete a DBS check or any first aid training if required by the family.

My Availability

As a full-time student at Loughborough University, I take both my studies and any childcare responsibilities seriously. I’m currently available for part-time babysitting during:

Early Mornings - Evenings (Monday–Friday)
Weekends (flexible daytime and evenings)
Some weekdays, depending on my university timetable
I’m happy to discuss regular or occasional babysitting that fits around both your family’s needs and my academic schedule. During university holidays and quieter study periods, I may also be available for extra hours or full-day care.

Reliability and communication are very important to me, so I’ll always be upfront about my schedule and make sure we’re on the same page.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate is between £10–£12/hour, depending on the time, number of children, and tasks involved. I’m happy to discuss a rate that works well for your family and the level of care needed.
