I’m a 23 year old graduate of Durham University. I am an aspiring actress and yoga teacher in training. I also create guided meditations, so I’m an excellent reader and bedtime storyteller! I am very personable, patient and friendly. I love babies and children & I relish in being a part of their positive development.
My Experience
I have 4+ years of experience in childcare, homeschool aid and babysitting with children of various ages.
At sixth form I volunteered Friday afternoons at local primary schools to teach drama games and theatrical activities with a class of young children; keeping all children engaged and attentive.
Over COVID I assisted as a private tutor to help a 4 year-old-boy who had ADHD with his online learning. Alongside this I would also entertain and childmind his 2-year-old brother, as their dad worked from home & mum was caring for their newborn.
I juggled these tasks with a cool and level head, as concentration and motivation proved difficult for my young pupil.
In other jobs I have assisted in bath times, mealtimes and school pick ups, so I have plenty of all-round experience.
My Qualifications
In 2020 I completed a school mandated DBS check for primary school volunteering.
I have a drivers license, with access to the family car until September.
My Availability
I work a cafe job with sporadic shifts about twice a week from 11-3.30
