Hello! I am a 22 year old student from California who is currently studying abroad. I am currently studying at the University of California Santa Cruz as a Feminist Studies major and an Education minor. I will be studying at Kings College London this fall semester. I am a dual citizen as my dad is from the UK and my mum from California. My dream is to move to the UK next year once I have graduatedUniversity and start my PGCE course to become a primary school teacher. I am passionate about childcare and truly believe in being fully present and engaged with any child I encounter. I love going on walks in the park and exploring when I can! I also am currently looking into getting my DBS check:)
My Experience
I have been babysitting since the age of 15, and mommy helping since 13. I have always had a passion for childcare and babysat in California for children aged 6 months to 13 years old. Working with kids daily and helping them with homework, as well as performing tasks like cooking and cleaning. I also have worked as a camp leader at a Musical Theatre camp working to help make sure kids are safe and taken care of, as well as being a compassionate listener helping to solve disputes. I have worked with several kids with ADHD and on the autism spectrum and would be willing to work with parents to curate tactics that work best with their child.
My Qualifications
I have been working with kids since I was 14 and am currently am in University as an education minor.
My Availability
I am still waiting to get my school schedule for the fall, but up until then I am ready to work any day of the week starting August 11th.
