Hi! My name is Maya, I’m 19 years old and based in Southampton. I have nearly four years of childcare experience and currently work as an SEN Learning Support Assistant, supporting children with a variety of different needs. I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where every child can thrive, and I take pride in being calm, patient, and adaptable in all kinds of situations.
Alongside my current role, I also offer babysitting services and have experience working with children of all ages. My Experience
I have been babysitting for 4 years and have experience with children of all different ages. I have before worked as an assistant childminder, picking up children from school, setting up educational activities for them and providing them with healthy meals. Last year I became a qualified level 3 early years practitioner. During this qualification I gained experience working in different settings ( preschools, nursery’s and schools) with children of different ages and needs. I am now currently working as an SEN LSA. During this job I have gained experience working with children with a a variety of different needs such as autism, ADHD, PDA, mutism, speech and motor delays aswell as different behavioural disorders
My Qualifications
I am a Level 3 qualified early years practitioner. I am also paediatric first aid trained. I also have lots of other training in things such as asthma, safeguarding and SEN.
My Availability
I am currently available to work any time during the six weeks holidays.

We had our first visit with Maya yesterday, she was on time, happy super interactive with my little one! Made them lunch and tidied up. The children were actually sad to see her go, we will be having her back for sure.
