I’m a calm, positive, and nurturing babysitter who loves helping children feel safe, supported, and happy. I enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and bringing creativity, play, and patience into my care. Alongside studying part-time for my MSc in Psychology, I am building a career in education and residential childcare, which has given me lots of experience in supporting children’s confidence, learning, and well-being.
My Experience
I have worked with children aged 3–14 in schools, out in the community, and at home - including supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities. For the past two years, I’ve been both a SEND teaching assistant and an enabler, helping children enjoy activities, routines, and social experiences in ways that suit them best. I love finding fun, engaging activities that spark creativity while also giving children a sense of structure and comfort. I am now moving into full-time residential childcare, which continues to strengthen my skills in providing consistent, caring support.
My Qualifications
Although I do not directly hold any childcare qualifications, my employment background coupled with my MSC in psychology has equipped me with valuable knowledge regarding child development, wellbeing and mental health.
My Availability
Full-time during the summer, until commencement of my new role. I will update my services to reflect term-time based availability upon receiving my first rota.
