Full Time Nanny Job In London Borough Of Merton
About Me
We are a friendly family in Wimbledon [SW19] looking for a full-time nanny to care for our curious and active 15-month-old boy, Ermis.
We are Greeks, work from home and would love to have him around at least for 1-2 years before joining a nursery. Our parenting style is playful, laid back. We value a calm, and positive environment and appreciate Montessori-inspired activities: exploration outdoors, splashing in puddles, playgroups and play that stimulates imagination rather than overstimulation or tons of toys.
We have a small, friendly dog and a lovely garden perfect for lemonades and sandpits.

Hello all,
We had the worst possible experience with this person and would not recommend her
1. No references: When asked for references [name + number], Monica claimed that she changed phones and lost all family / work contacts from practically the last 10 years she has been doing this. She wouldn't name the nursery school she worked in, claimed that she was working for a 'Paola' [no surname] and changed at the last minute the mobile number of the contact she had eventually provided due to laptop issues.
2. After we agreed to work with her [stupidly before asking for references] she mentioned extra costs like a £100 standard fee when travelling, and full compensation for the day if we failed to notify her a week in advance
3. She offered to do a trial week and then bailed on us for the first three days to spend more time with her family from Spain. She blamed us for miscommunication.
I would not trust her to do this job, and I wish her best of luck

Thank you to the Karavias Family for their feedback. I would like to clarify that I did not provide childcare services for this family, and no formal agreement was ever in place.
I provide professional, reliable, and high-quality childcare, and I encourage families to contact my references or review my profile for verified feedback from families I have successfully worked with.
I take pride in ensuring a safe, supportive, and positive environment for every child in my care.
