About Me

Hi! My name is Chloe and I am currently studying music performance at University. I have just finished my second year.
I work as a children's gymnastics coach in Ipswich and I'm a full time musician and performer. I love to work with children of all ages through music too, I have done workshops with nursery aged children to engaging people of various ages in my performances.

While I have not studied childcare at College/Uni due to my passion to the arts and receiving a scholarship for music performance. I love working with children of all ages and creating a safe and fun environment- catering to each child's individual needs and supporting their development.

I have babysat for parents whom I've met through this app before. I also have experience with SEN children. My cousin who has special needs, for example, is very high on the spectrum
and since I was 14/15, I have been helping in look after him. I can't put it into words but he is very full on, while it's of course not his fault, it's taught me a lot, especially with personalising your approach with each child as every child is unique and one way simply won't work for all children and that's okay.

My documents uploaded to this app are all up to date. I have a fully enhanced DBS check, online diploma in early childhood education and development which I studied in my own time. My coaching job has also required me to undertake various courses such as first aid, fire safety, manual handling, and childcare training in general. I also have my CV. Before enquiring please note that I currently can't drive due to medical reasons which is out of my control. I do have epilepsy but it's under full control and I don't let it stop me in pursuing what I want to do. I know my limits and I know what to do in an emergency. I know I have epilepsy and it might sound irresponsible to be around children bur I do take medication as I said so it is under control and I haven't had many seizures since my diagnosis at age 13. Just because I have epilepsy, I don't like to be defined by that and I understand people's point of view but I would never put anyone in any danger and I'd like to reassure you all that it is fully under control.

Please note while I am on summer break for uni, I am still a student meaning I do have to do things for uni throughout summer. I am a musician/singer-songwriter, gymnastics coach, performer. I will do my best to be available but please consider all of this before reaching out.
Also, since I can't drive, I often have to rely on public transport, Ubers, lifts, and walking. I will do my best to say yes to you but it can be tough sometimes. Please do bare with me as my availability will change and I can't always reflect that exactly how it is shown in the app.
