My Experience

I began my career as a full-time live-out nanny in Auckland, NZ, caring for an 8-year-old girl for just under two years. My responsibilities included preparing healthy meals for both the child and the family, school drop-offs and pick-ups, helping with homework, planning fun and engaging activities, and managing after-school clubs. During school hours, I also supported the household with errands such as grocery shopping, paying bills, cleaning, laundry, and general family assistance.

This role followed many years of casual babysitting and holiday nannying for children ranging from newborns to 12 years old, giving me broad experience with different ages and family dynamics. I also come from a big family myself, with siblings and nieces and nephews of varying ages — so I’ve always been surrounded by children and naturally found myself helping to care for them from a young age. That early experience sparked my passion for working with kids and supporting families.

After relocating to London, I spent several years working in the corporate world, eventually becoming an Operations Director. While I gained invaluable leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills in that role, I continued to offer ad-hoc evening and weekend babysitting, maintaining my connection to childcare. I’m now taking a career break and returning to my original passion — working directly with children and supporting families in a more hands-on and meaningful way.

I bring a calm, reliable, and positive energy into each day, along with a creative approach to learning and play. Whether it’s arts and crafts, imaginative games, or outdoor adventures, I love encouraging children to explore, express themselves, and build confidence.

I’m also happy to assist with routines, household tasks, and anything else that helps your family run smoothly. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and baking, embroidery, interior design, staying organised, and keeping active through regular exercise. I also absolutely love animals and would be more than happy to help care for any pets as part of my role.
