About Us
We are a mixed community comprehensive school in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames dedicated to serving our locality. All visitors to our school notice how proud the students and staff are of their school. They notice how well the students behave in this very friendly and high achieving school and how smart they appear in their distinctive uniform.
Our young people enjoy being at our school and gain a great deal from being members of our school community. They achieve highly in their academic studies because they are challenged to succeed and are well taught and cared for by a dedicated team of professionals. Such high achievement is enabled by the wide range of pastoral care and personal support we offer our students so that they leave us with great qualifications and a real understanding of who they are and how they can be most successful in their futures.
We have a varied curriculum which is designed to be genuinely personal and meet the needs of each young person. We put our students’ needs before any other priority and are rewarded by seeing how our young people flourish and succeed. Our enrichment opportunities enable all students to find activities and interests which complement their studies and enhance their experience. We seek to take full advantage of our envious location by the banks of the River Thames in a borough with so many opportunities for our young people.
All of us at Teddington School are enthusiastic and ambitious. We are working together to begin an exciting new phase of development to build on the remarkable successes of the past. In September 2014 we opened our new Sixth Form in an impressive new building at the front of the school. I know that it will grow to be as popular and oversubscribed as the rest of the school.
