About Me
I am an experienced governess, qualified teacher (QTLS) and private tutor with many years of experience working with children in schools and private households. As a native French speaker, I have native-level competency in English and Italian and am also fluent in Russian.
I believe children learn best when they feel safe, confident and genuinely interested. I create a calm, structured and nurturing environment where learning becomes enjoyable through conversation, games, creative activities and everyday experiences.

My training in mindfulness and my background as a qualified Pilates teacher allow me to incorporate gentle movement, breathing and relaxation techniques when appropriate, helping children improve focus, resilience and self-confidence.

Whether supporting homework, language development or enriching children’s daily routines, my aim is always to help every child reach their full potential while making learning enjoyable.
My Experience
I have over 25 years’ experience working with children as a qualified teacher, private tutor and governess in both schools and private households. I have taught French and English, supported homework across the primary and secondary curriculum, prepared engaging educational activities and provided language immersion in French. I have worked with international and high-net-worth families and adapt my approach to each child’s personality, interests and learning style. My aim is to help children develop confidence, curiosity, independence and a genuine love of learning.
My Qualifications
Qualified Teacher (QTLS) with a BA (Hons) in Applied Language Studies, PGCE and a Postgraduate Certificate in Interpreting Studies. Native French speaker with native-level fluency in English and Italian, and fluent Russian. Qualified Pilates Teacher and Franklin Method Educator, with additional training in trauma-sensitive mindfulness, HeartMath and emotional wellbeing. Enhanced DBS and full UK driving licence.
My Availability
I am available for regular or temporary positions, including after-school, evenings, weekends, holiday cover and rota roles. I am also available to travel with families in the UK and internationally. Please contact me to discuss your family’s individual requirements.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
